Countryside Access Rangers who worked with Sainsbury’s staff to help improve Foxrush Farm

Well done to our Countryside Access Rangers who worked with Sainsbury’s staff to help improve Foxrush Farm Community Woodland in Redcar. 🤝

Council staff and two groups from Sainsbury’s Local stores on Larkswood Road and Roseberry Square cleared footpaths and also cleared away a sizeable den which was strewn with litter. 🚯

Sainsbury’s helped out as part of the company’s 150th anniversary year celebrations. A big ‘thank you’ to everyone involved.

Councillor Alec Brown, Dormanstown Councillor said,” I am delighted that Sainsbury’s have teamed up with the park rangers to help improve Fox Rush. This area is enjoyed by many in my ward and from across Redcar, recently it has fell victim to some vandalism. Without the hours the volunteers dedicate every week to the area would not be half as beautiful as it is.”
